You rarely see rustic wooden elements in a monochromatic home, but this home incorporates earthy tones amongst its heavy shades of blacks, greys and whites effortlessly.
Sharp edges and defined lines decorate the entire apartment and draws distinctions between living spaces effortlessly. The use of concrete is smart in adding raw and industrial appeal to an otherwise clean and pristine black and white canvas. The design utilises concrete functionally as table tops, consoles and wall nooks from the living room, kitchen to the toilets. It marries the use of stone throughout the home harmoniously and adds a nice cool atmosphere to the entire space.
Moving into the bedroom, the colours brighten and a large wooden headboard takes the attention of any who enters. More whites and softer colours adorn the bedrooms, changing the atmosphere from cool and sleek to warm and cosy. To introduce the element of space, glass was used in place of a concrete wall to separate the washroom in the master bedroom, opening to room up with a chic and intimate feature.
The utility of simple shades reduces and welcomes lights in various parts of the home, making it an ideal design for those that enjoy quiet and peace in their home.
